Madison primarily practices in the areas of construction, commercial and insolvency law and has particular expertise in areas of residential and commercial construction litigation.
He regularly assists clients in disputes with the Queensland Building Services Authority/Queensland Building and Construction Commission and has developed a specific interest in disputes incorporating the Subcontractors Charges Act and the Building and Construction Industry Payments Act. He also provides regular advice to a number of private sector proponents, contractors, developers and industry professionals in relation to arbitration and methods of alternative dispute resolution.
Madison has also taken lead roles in a wide range of prominent insolvency and commercial litigation matters. He has acted for a number of large private sector clients in relation to claims and prosecutions under trade practices and bankruptcy legislation.
